We're hiring a Junior Designer with strong attention to detail looking to start their career at an advertising agency. As a Junior Graphic Designer at Rockit Science, you will report to the Chief Creative Officer and Art Director but work closely with team members in all disciplines. We're looking for a graphic designer who can help us deliver awesome work for a wide range of clients. From logos and printed communications to websites and advertising. Join our lively workplace with a small studio environment. Designers have the opportunity to work on regional and national brands like MovieTickets.com, H&E Equipment Services, NASA, and many others.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to create compelling design concepts, artwork, and layout for multi-channel and integrated marketing efforts
  • Must be aware of the latest market and media trends, new aesthetics, materials, graphic styles, and a highly refined understanding of typography
  • Conceptual thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and a good sense of time-management
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the consistency of the creative across varied media
  • Ability to convey the strengths of concepts and remain open to input and further exploration
  • Exceptionally high level of attention to detail
  • Determine messages that designs should convey


  • 1-2 years experience with an advertising or design company or in house corporate marketing team preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates originality and innovation
  • Basic understanding of interactive UX/UI principles, a plus
  • Proficient with Sketch, a plus
  • God Mode level skills in arcade games
