Rockit Science Selected as Agency of Record for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University

BATON ROUGE, La. (April 12, 2017) -- Rockit Science Agency, a boutique advertising agency, has been selected as agency of record for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, formerly Our Lady of the Lake College based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Agency, selected after a regional selection process, will oversee rebrand and advertising strategies for the University.

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University has three schools; the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Health Professions, and School of Nursing. "Expansion of programs in recent years, including doctoral level degree programs, prompted the name change to university to reflect the advanced programs being offered at the institution," said Sr. Barbara Arceneaux, provincial for the Sisters of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady. "In addition, the name change honors the ministry's founding sponsors and its Franciscan ideals and values."

The University was founded in 1923 as a nursing school in conjunction with the establishment of Our Lady of the Lake Sanitarium in the Capitol Lake area of downtown Baton Rouge. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is the only Catholic Franciscan institution of higher education in the southeastern United States and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees.
