Rockit Science Agency developed public relations and viral campaign strategies and tactics to support the Louisiana Hot Sauce and Cajun Injector brands' efforts to target college football fans in Georgia, Florida, Texas and Louisiana. Consumer created content was requested from football fans in search of the ultimate tailgate experience. The Agency developed sample viral videos for four different major markets to assist the fans in the content's expectations.  Thousands of fans from Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas submitted YouTube videos.  The campaign was integrated across all social media platforms.  Both brands posted higher sales during the BTS(Back-to-School) and Football Seasons in the targeted markets.

Yep, press releases are pretty boring stuff, and it takes some effort to get the attention of reporters.  Rockit Science created a mini BBQ pit ready for action, which included all press materials, fun-facts about the history of tailgating, tailgating product checklist, product samples and a B-Roll beta tape was sealed in a package to look like a steak. Media coverage was valued at $74,000 in the targeted markets, which included television, print and publications during BTS(Back to School) and Football Season.
