Voted hospital of the year in 2009, the Baton Rouge General Hospital and Pennington Cancer Center is the region's first accredited and only comprehensive cancer program that brings together a vast network of experienced physicians, nurses and other professionals. The General is the first and only hospital in the United States with the new life-saving cancer technology know as ARTISTE (just approved by the FDA). The ARTISTE is the most advanced radiation therapy technology in the world.
Take A Journey
Rockit Science Agency had the honor of creating a unique companion journal for patients diagnosed with cancer entitled “My Journey to Wellness.” The design communicated a friendly, confident and comforting journey through the treatment processes. The book supplied to each patient contained inspirational messaging, medical personal bios and treatment processes. Several areas of the journal allowed for personal customization. Rockit Science captured rich photography of doctors, nurses and equipment which were utilized to provide a continued sense of comfort through education.
