_Sephora, Dick's Sporting Goods set for Mall of Louisiana

Sephora cosmetics and Dick's Sporting Goods stores will be part of the two expansions at the Mall of Louisiana. Sephora will be located in The Boulevard, the open-air shopping center being built on the east side of the mall. Dick's will be located in a power center planned just north of Rave Motion Pictures. This is the first Louisiana location for each store. Sephora, which calls itself the leading beauty chain in Europe, sells makeup, perfume and bath products. The store will open in March with the rest of The Boulevard, says Brent Sims, mall spokesman. Dick's, which has about 300 locations in the U.S., sells athletic equipment, shoes and apparel. The store will open in August 2008 with the rest of the power center, Sims says. Dick's will serve as one of the anchors of the center, along with Circuit City.
